My Photography

A good snapshot stops
a moment from running away
I am grateful for my dad who was always so willing to teach me and coach me when I was younger. One summer in Jr. High, he did photography lessons with me in which we ventured out on many outings. We did a lot of landscape and nature photography back then. I remember he put me in his dark room and timed how fast I could load a carteridge of film in the dark. I know my love of photography stems from his encouragement and love of the art. I only had one formal photography class, in college, which I loved, of course. I am currently in the process of tracking down my portfolio from that class (it is so much easier to be organized with digital photography!) With that, I've been looking through old files of my (digital) photography over the last few years and have started to organize some of my favorites.
